In 1979,
Tim joined the faculty of the prestigious and world-renown
Entrepreneurship Centre at Durham University Business
School in the United Kingdom on a one-year, fixed term
contract. From 1979 to 2000 he held the position of
Executive Director of the Centre where he was instrumental
in pioneering some of the most innovative and exciting
business development initiatives in Europe.
In June
2000, he accepted an invitation to become Director
of the BankWest Entrepreneurship and Business Development
Unit at Curtin Business School and migrated to Perth,
Western Australia. This unit works with approximately
2,000 small and medium sized enterprises each year,
including many of Western Australia’s premium
growth businesses. In 2006, Tim left Curtin Uni to
concentrate on developing his own business interests.
In 2002, Tim was invited to join the Board of Western
Australia’s Small Business Development Corporation
and, a year later, was appointed Chairman on the recommendation
of State Cabinet.
